Aljoša Jurinić, piano

Pianist Aljoša Jurinić will perform on Wednesday, September 7th in the atrium of the Rector’s Palace, starting at 9 pm. He achieved his greatest international success in 2012 by winning the prestigious Robert Schumann piano competition in the composer’s hometown of Zwickau. In 2015, he was a finalist of the 17th Fryderyk Chopin International Piano Competition in Warsaw and a laureate of the Queen Elizabeth Competition in 2016. He is the winner of all the leading awards for young musicians in Croatia, and in 2015 he was presented with the annual Vladimir Nazor award and the Milka Trnin award in 2017.
