The varied and rich musical programme of the 75th Dubrovnik Summer Festival will be opened by one of the most versatile musical artists of his generation, legendary Jordi Savall and his early music ensemble Hespèrion XXI with a concert entitled Mare Nostrum: A Dialogue of Souls which will present the audience with an intercultural musical dialogue between Christian, Sephardic, Ottoman, and Arabic works – of Andalusian origin.

The Linđo Folklore Ensemble has won a large number of awards and has been performing extensively at home and abroad as a successful promoter of Dubrovnik and Croatian heritage. Since 1967, the Ensemble has been performing regularly at the Dubrovnik Summer Festival.

The first festival premiere this summer will be a co-production of the Dubrovnik Summer Festival and the Marin Držić Theatre. Carlo Goldoni's iconic La Bottega del Caffè, as translated and adapted by Frano Čale into the Dubrovnik dialect, will be staged by director Paolo Tišljarić at Držić Square.

The Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra regularly performs with well-known local and internationally recognized artists, interpreting the works of Baroque, classical and romantic masters. At their first performance as part of the 75th Festival, the Orchestra will be conducted by one of the most versatile maestros of his generation, Sebastian Lang-Lessing, and joined by one of the most sought-after Croatian cellists, Monika Leskovar.

Jazz lovers will rejoice this summer beacause the 75th Dubrovnik Summer Festival is preparing a real treat! One of the world's leading big band jazz orchestras, the JM Jazz World Orchestra, will perform on the Lovrjenac Fort, gathering top musicians from different parts of the world under the artistic direction of the established American trombonist, composer and pedagogue Luis Bonilla – known for his collaborations with big names of the music scene, including McCoy Tyner, Dizzy Gillespie, Lester Bowie, Tom Harrell, Phil Collins and many others.

Opera singer Max Emanuel Cencić is referred one of the most fascinating and versatile opera singers in the world, and as part of the 75th Dubrovnik Summer Festival, he will perform for the festival audience the best of baroque music with the Latinitas Nostra ensemble, founded by the renowned conductor Markellos Chryssicos, one of the leading Greek experts in early music.

In its anniversary edition, the Dubrovnik Summer Festival continues its traditional collaboration with Dubrovnik Cinemas to bring audiences a screening of the Grand Golden Arena winning film from the 71st Pula Film Festival, to the Jadran Open-air Cinema.

Hamlet, Shakespeare's most famous and most performed play, has intrigued and inspired artists around the world for more than four centuries, offering countless possibilities of interpretation. This famous tragedy was transformed into ballet form by the established dance artist Leo Mujić, and the Ballet of the Croatian National Theater in Zagreb will stage this classic masterpiece in a new way as a spectacular, large ensemble performance.

The Dubrovnik Summer Festival will participate in the celebration of the 45th anniversary of the inscription of the Old City of Dubrovnik on the UNESCO World Heritage List by staging the musical-theatre piece Hecuba, performed by the Dialogos ensemble, under the artistic direction of musicologist and vocalist Katarina Livljanić. The project is based on the texts of the Croatian (Dubrovnik) Renaissance writer Marin Držić and his Venetian contemporary and polymath Lodovico Dolce.
