The first ever professional ensemble of its kind on the Croatian music scene, the Zagreb Quartet, today consists of the violinists Martin Krpan and Davor Philips, Hrvoje Philips on the viola and Martin Jordan on the cello. They are always welcome guests of the festival and this summer, they will be joined in concert by the prominent Croatian pianist Ivan Krpan, who after winning the first prize at the Ferruccio Busoni international piano competition in Bolzano – one of the most prestigious piano competitions in the world – debuted at the 69th Dubrovnik Summer Festival.
